On November 27 – December 2, 2022, a business visit of domestic companies and associations in the fields of waste processing and renewable energy to the Republic of Latvia (Riga) will take place.
The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the experience and approaches in the organization of production processes in the Republic of Latvia in the specified industries, as well as the possibilities of its implementation in Ukraine.

As part of the business visit, the participants will visit:
- Profile associations for renewable energy, in particular the Wind and Solar Energy Association
- The largest Latvian company for installing solar panels
- Waste processing enterprises with their own equipped landfills
- Plastic recycling centers
- Production of plastic granules
- Enterprises at the request of business program participants.
The mission takes place within the framework of the DCP (Development Cooperation Partnership) project aimed at supporting Ukraine’s integration into the single European market using the Baltic countries (the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Estonia) as the entry point.
The deadline for submitting applications for participation in the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is November 14.
The price of participation includes: logistics (railway, air), hotel accommodation, transfers, insurance. Part of the costs are covered by the project.
The visit involves the participation of women, men of non-conscription age and with the right to travel abroad, representatives of state bodies.
