|Kramatorsk is an industrial city in the north of the region with the population of approximately 161,000 people, which since October 2014 has been the location of Donetsk Regional State Administration. It has a good logistics connection by high-speed trains with Kyiv (5-6 hours) and the western territory of Ukraine.
Its most famous enterprise – Novokramatorsky Mashinostroitelny Zavod – is also the main tourist attraction. The city museum of local lore displays a variety of interesting paleontological and geological artifacts, including the recreated model of mammoth.

|Soledar is the center of the salt industry of Ukraine. The city is known primarily for its salt mine. It is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. The devastated mine workings have been transformed into amazing temples with sculptures, paintings, chapels and salt boulders grottoes.
Deep underground there is the sanatorium open to everyone. Here, the air, enriched with salt particles, treats asthma and strengthens the nervous system. There are, without exaggeration, very few such objects all over the world. And even demanding foreign tourists are delighted with walks through Soledar Salt Mines.
|Artwinery Sparkling Wine Factory|

|Artwinery is one of the largest enterprises in the Eastern Europe for the production of sparkling wines by the classic bottle method and located in Bakhmut.
Old gypsum mines at the depth of 50 m underground were favorable for the production of the special type of sparkling wine (including the only red in the world). Tourists will be visited by three production shops in the underground part of the plant, where they will demonstrate modern winemaking equipment for making “kings” wine.

|Mariupol is one of the largest cities in Donetsk Region, the country’s industrial center, the significant port and settlement area of the Greeks of Azov Sea, the climatic and mud resort.
It is a natural regional center for leisure and business / conference tourism with many nearby resorts as well as natural and historical attractions. Its industrial heritage, which includes some outstanding cultural heritage sites, can be a landmark attraction.
